The Saving Epona Rescue Fund

The Saving Epona fund supports high-risk equines in the slaughter pipeline. We collaborate with rescues, sanctuaries, adopters, fosters, transporters, farriers, trainers, and veterinarians. Every donation ensures that BLM Mustangs and Burros receive the care they need to become safe and healthy.

We Can’t Do This Alone

No single organization can tackle this problem alone. It requires a coalition of dedicated individuals and groups constantly monitoring horse auctions, sale lots, and kill pens, fundraising and finding homes to save as many equines as possible. The “Saving Epona” rescue fund supports these front-line warriors, distributing funds where the need is greatest at the moment. We are the rescue helping other rescues.
